Bentley & More Announces Promotion of Clare Lucich to Name Partner, Rebrands as Bentley More & Lucich
Accomplished trial attorney becomes the first woman named to the firm’s masthead, marking a significant milestone for the prominent California plaintiff litigation firm.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — October 28, 2026 — Bentley & More LLP, one of Orange County’s leading plaintiff firms, announced today that trial attorney Clare Lucich will become a name partner, marking a new chapter in the firm’s history. The firm will now operate under the name Bentley More & Lucich, recognizing Ms. Lucich’s extraordinary litigation record, leadership and contributions to the firm’s continued success.
The announcement represents a major milestone for the firm, which Greg Bentley and Keith More founded in 2016, and underscores the growing influence of women in California’s plaintiff trial bar. By adding Ms. Lucich’s name alongside its two founders, the firm recognizes her as a central figure in its future leadership and reinforces its commitment to developing the next generation of trial lawyers.
“Clare is everything we believe a great trial lawyer should be: fearless, extraordinarily talented, deeply committed to her clients and relentless in her pursuit of justice,” said Mr. Bentley. “When Keith and I founded this firm, we set out to build something that would last beyond the two of us. Clare has been instrumental in making that vision a reality.”

Attorney Clare Lucich
Ms. Lucich joined the firm at its founding in 2016 and became a partner in 2022. During her tenure, she established herself as one of California’s most respected plaintiff trial attorneys, representing individuals and families in complex catastrophic injury, wrongful death, product liability, government liability and insurance bad faith litigation.
Her record includes a $16 million wrongful death settlement in Amador v. Hill Crane, a $16.5 million dangerous roadway design settlement against the City of Pasadena, and a $12 million wrongful death settlement in Gruppioni v. City of Los Angeles. She also played a role in litigation resulting in a $720 million class action settlement involving CalPERS long-term care insurance premiums.
Most recently, on October 21, 2026, Ms. Lucich and partner Nico D. Mamone won a $3.82 million jury verdict in Hamidian v. Jeff Oviedo & Associates, Inc., an Orange County spinal fusion case on behalf of a 66-year-old grandmother.
Ms. Lucich’s accomplishments have earned her recognition among the Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers in California and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association’s 2022 Young Gun Trial Lawyer of the Year. She is also serving as the 2026 president of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, where she launched a Women’s Caucus to build networking and support among women lawyers.
“Clare earned this position through years of exceptional work, sound judgment and an unwavering commitment to the people we represent,” said Mr. More. “She has proven herself in some of the most challenging cases a plaintiff attorney can handle, and she has earned the respect of judges, opposing counsel and her peers.”
For Ms. Lucich, the promotion represents both a professional achievement and an opportunity to help expand leadership opportunities for other women in the legal community.
“I grew up watching my father practice law in Fresno, and he’s a big reason I became a lawyer,” said Ms. Lucich. “I’ve watched Greg and Keith build this firm from the ground up over the past decade, always putting clients first and giving younger lawyers like me real trial opportunities. Having my name next to theirs is an honor I don’t take lightly. I got here within a year of having a baby because of the support of my family, my firm and so many women trial lawyers who came before me and stood beside me. That’s what I want to build for the next generation of women in this profession: more of us trying cases, leading firms and pulling each other up.”
The transition to Bentley More & Lucich comes as the firm celebrates a decade of representing injured individuals and families throughout California. Since its founding, the firm has secured hundreds of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements and developed a reputation for handling complex, high-stakes litigation involving catastrophic injuries, defective products, dangerous public property conditions and insurance disputes.
