Attorney Kim Lynn Hoang has devoted her entire professional career to helping families. Prior to attending law school, she worked with families with special needs children as a behavioral therapist. After several years as a therapist, she recognized the unique legal needs for these children. She decided to attend law school to advocate for these families and their legal rights.
While attending Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, CA she clerked for the Western Law Center for Disability Rights, advocating for educational rights for these children. She also worked for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (“LAFLA”). At LAFLA, she worked closely with families, helping them with legal issues involving domestic violence, custody, support, guardianships, among countless other family related matters. She also helped victims of human trafficking through the legal process of reuniting with their families as well as obtaining immigration statuses for them in the United States.
