Jeff Pham is an attorney with over 16 years of law practice experience. He has dedicated his entire career to advising businesses and providing clients with straightforward and practical legal expertise.
Pursuing a law degree was not at all lifelong dream for Jeff. Growing up in a family of physicians, Jeff spent the first three years of college on track for a career in medicine. But his keen interest in literature and the arts veered his path away from medical school, and Jeff followed that passion to a degree in English literature. From there, his fascination with the complexities and power of the legal system, and desire to be in a position of service and responsibility, brought him to law school.
After graduating from Loyola Law School, Jeff accepted an unconventional opportunity to start his career as in-house counsel for CoreLogic, Inc. (NYSE: CLGX), the world’s largest provider of real estate data and analytics. As corporate counsel, Jeff advised company leadership on a wide spectrum of issues, including mergers, asset purchase agreements, real estate transactions, intellectual property licensing, employment law, corporate governance, litigation management, and trade secret enforcement. Working for a large company in the center of a dynamic legal market, Jeff routinely collaborated with many of the top minds in the Orange County business and legal communities, gleaning invaluable knowledge and lasting insights from these relationships.
In 2010, Jeff left CoreLogic and embraced his entrepreneurial spirit by establishing Pham Law Group. Jeff’s primary focus in forming his own law firm was to bring his years of experience as in-house counsel to the service of smaller businesses in the Orange County area. Through Pham Law Group, Jeff served as a trusted legal advisor to companies who either didn’t need, or lacked the resources to retain, a full-time in-house attorney. Working closely with his clients from a diverse array of industries, Jeff focused his efforts on understanding their businesses, identifying their most pressing legal needs, and formulating plans to help them achieve their goals. His eclectic roster of clients included physician groups, alternative energy firms, restaurants, professional athletes, and software companies.
In 2013, Jeff joined with Joseph Adams, his law school friend and frequent collaborator, to form Adams & Pham APC. The firm is now a full-service boutique focused primarily on business law and litigation, and Jeff leads its business transactions practice. Today, Jeff spends his days advising clients on legal matters encompassing the entire lifespan of a business—from business entity selection and formation all the way to mergers, acquisitions, and entity dissolution.
As a business owner himself, Jeff constantly reminds himself to adopt the mindset of his clients, asking what he himself would want from a business attorney. His perspective is that clients should rightfully demand not only an excellent legal mind, but also respect, responsiveness, and a willingness to take the time to understand each client’s unique needs and circumstances. These are qualities that Jeff strives every day to exemplify for the firm’s clients. And from the feedback he’s received from clients in his nearly 10 years since co-founding Adams & Pham APC, he’s proud to say: so far, so good.
